Job Description:Purpose The Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) is state - of - the - art facility that combines experience and expertise to help enterprises solve their business challenges and archive digitalization of their Business through Innovative cross workload Technologies to improve their overall business results. The MTC Technical Architect (TA) engage early in the project life - cycle where we have the opportunity to draw the state of the art solution to the CxO and envision how our Technology enable new business impact. The MTC TA also helps to drive architecture discussion to make the vision real and prove the ability of the solution to accelerate the sales opportunity in time and quality or to enable fast and effective consumption. This role works with business and technical decision makers from Microsoft enterprise accounts as well as Microsoft partners and Microsoft account teams. The role focuses on leading Strategy Briefings (SB) , Architecture Design Sessions (ADSs) , Hands - on Immersions (HOIs) , and Proof of Concepts (POCs) , helping enterprise customers identify and articulate the business opportunity , propose and validate solution architectures , and transfer knowledge on best practices through interactive white - boarding sessions and hands - on delivery in a world class facility. Key Responsibilities - Demonstrate internally and externally how MS technology innovations are applicable within your market and your customers to showcase our business value. - Inspire CxO and Enterprise Architect Level on what they could achieve by using the right set of innovative technology - Accelerate technical decision within opportunities to accelerate the win of complex solution on our Platform integrated in the environment of the customer - Maintain and Develop new experience scenarios based on the MTC Demo Platform to support the tech sellers within the segment showcasing our world class technology experience s to envision , prove or consume technology - Use the Helping Clients Succeed framework , translate the customer s business requirements into differentiating solutions based on Microsoft devices - and - services. - Lead the creation and demonstration of these solutions to support business case. - Lead the delivery of technical sales engagements , including strategy briefings , architectural design sessions , proof of concepts , demonstrations , and immersion experiences. - Explain abstract technical concepts of the platform in a business value context. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with virtual account team members , serving as the technology subject - matter expert (SME) within these teams. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology specialists within other MTCs around the world. - Share knowledge and expertise within these teams related to: - The applications , architectures , IT standards , and tools and resources used by customers and their lines of business ~Relevant industry , competitive , and market knowledge - mobile , social , cloud , big data , video and unified communications ~Provide technical solutions and resources to help partners evaluate , deploy and launch solutions on a Microsoft platform , including migrating competitive solutions onto the Microsoft platform.. - Participate in the technical community to support cross workgroup collaboration , share best practices , publish white papers and technical case studies , and educate Microsoft account team and partner resources on relevant market , competitive , and technology trends. - Lead the field transformation by taking a cloud - first , mobile - first approach wherever possible and advise the customer on how they get to the vision Experiences Required: Key Experiences , Skills and Knowledge - At least 8 - 10 years of experience in building Enterprise class solution - At least 5 years of experience building solutions using deep database technologies SQL Server Development and Administration , Architecting Data Warehousing , Performance Troubleshooting , Large scale Migrations , Reporting architectures , High Availability etc. - 3 - 5 years of related technical pre - sales experience preferred and / or technical consultant roles including ability to design Tech Architecture - Knowledge of technologies like NoSQL (Mongo , Cassandra , Redis) , MySQL , Oracle and the underlying architecture is highly desirable - Knowledge of end - to - end scalable application architecture with patterns and best practices (Caching , Sharding , Scale - out etc.) is highly desirable - Expertise on Multi - Tenant Architectures and implementation of Multi - Tenancy on Azure Knowledge of web technologies like NodeJS , PHP , Angular etc. is a plus - Knowledge on Machine Learning , Cognitive Intelligence and Data Insights on any platform is a plus - Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL technologies on any cloud platform from development to deployment is a plus - Proven experience engaging with senior level executives , project managers and developers - Experience of presenting at Technology Events - Able to inspire by communicating complex concepts in a simple , business value context with proven white boarding capabilities - Be a proven self - starter who takes ownership of opportunities works independently , manages multiple simultaneous projects , and deals well with ambiguity and last - minute changes - Ability and passion necessary to maintain technical excellence with emerging technologies , including competitive technologies , while continuing to manage customer opportunities - Commitment to customer and partner satisfaction , including internal customers , strong listening , communication and presentation skills , and the ability to thrive in a competitive team environment Education: - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a similar information technology related discipline - Prefer additional training in sales and / or Enterprise Architecture - Required certification in their SME domai
