Job Description:Requirements: 8-12 years experience with network infrastructure in an engineering and implementation environment Previous Network Operations Center leadership experience in a managed service or telecom environment a plus. Substantial experience in operating 24/7 high-availability network infrastructure in a highly transactional environment. Strong technical subject matter expertise on Data Center infrastructures supporting Cloud organizations globally Convincing and collaborative communication skills with teams, peers and senior leadership Extensive, detail oriented personality to develop technology planning for projects work as well as tactical real time troubleshooting. Experience leading and mentoring teams responsible in Network Operations Center support Experience working with hardware manufacturers (Cisco/Juniper) in support of critical systems to resolve root causes quickly. Strong change management and process management experience in a highly transactional organization. Cisco (CCENT or higher) and/or Juniper, F5 certifications a plus. Responsibilities: Lead a highly skilled NetOps analysts team in scheduling the daily work, shift scheduling 12+ staff members across multiple shifts. Lead a team of network analysts in monitoring network infrastructure 24/7/365. Lead and manage the team, including hiring, mentoring, and professional development, and work with senior management during the budgeting process. Create, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures in response to monitoring alerts. Communicate and coordinate support with Oracle Cloud Network Operations teams to reduce Mean Time to Recovery to resolve production issues with Network Infrastructure. Maintain communication channel with functional managers and senior leadership on critical issues Acts as a dedicated liaison between NOC, engineering teams and customers to improve customer satisfaction and to meet service level agreements. Work with monitoring development teams to create monitoring requirements for Network Operations Center requirements to support the Cloud Infrastructure Flexible person with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements. Creates long-term and short term planning for the NetOps team to address issues and develop program of continuing improvement for the organization. Develop Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports in service request volume, closure rate, to exceed service goals.
