Job Description:* Summary The Interactive Manager is a hands-on position responsible for the design, development, testing, management and maintenance for modules within Epsilon s industry leading marketing platform. Duties and responsibilities & amp amp bull Manage Lead software engineers and provide technical direction and manage project timelines. & amp amp bull Efficiently and effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical internal team members as well as third party client stakeholders. & amp amp bull As needed, gather requirements and analyze, understand and translate those requirements into technical specifications. & amp amp bull participate in design reviews and provide input to design recommendations where necessary. & amp amp bull Participate in code reviews and acceptance process in order to improve methodology and delivery. & amp amp bull Perform and manage development in a high volume, multi-tiered, transactional environment. Qualifications Minimum qualifications & amp amp bull Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience required. & amp amp bull Must have 9 to 12 years of total IT experience out of which minimum 2 years of team leading and project mgmt. experience. Should have managed 5 team members in last 2 engagements. & amp amp bull Should have technical background in Microsoft .Net along with either SQL or ORACLE database during the developer / Lead levels prior to taking up manager role. & amp amp bull Must be able to discuss technical aspects of architecture / design / code issues directly with technical teams. & amp amp bull Must be have experience in planning, analyzing requirements, designing solutions and developing code using .net technologies. & amp amp bull Experience with Agile development methodologies is required. This role will lead a sprint team and the manager must manage the stories and task breakdowns for all development work. & amp amp bull A strong desire to teach and mentor junior and mid-level developers and direct growth and goals of individual team members is essential. & amp amp bull Strong communication skills as well as a dedicated work ethic is a must. & amp amp bull The ability to display strong problem solving skills and perform under pressure is required. Preferred qualifications & amp amp bull Prior experience with enterprise class application/ web development as developer or manager strongly preferred.
