Job Description:Summary: Leads one of the Sales Consulting Center Systems teams in Bangalore , contributing to both the APAC & EMEA business. Job Level: M3/4 Reports To: Senior Director SCC Systems EMEA & APAC. Background: The Sales Consulting Center (SCC) is a team of young professionals currently located in near and off-shore centers in Bangalore, Bucharest, Malaga and China. The Systems team currently comprises of approximately 70 Sales Consultants supporting our on premise and Infrastructure as a Service business. The Systems SCC is funded by the Systems & Tech Business within APAC & EMEA, its remit is to provide remote pre-sales support through a range of Services including RFx support, demo builds, Proof of Concept (POC) delivery, Sizing and TCO calculations, business development and customer development activities as well as supporting the Oracle Digital Systems business. The SCC is a critical part of our Presales strategy to become a more efficient and effective presales delivery, enabling wider coverage of our customers and partners. Currently there is an opening for a Management role to lead and grow one of the Systems APAC teams based in Bangalore. This role will have responsibilities for geographical regions in APAC and product technology responsibilities across the overall Systems organisation. Responsibilities: Lead a regionally aligned sales consulting Team in SCC Bangalore, while working closely with the other locations and parts of the SCC organization for alignment and synergies in operation and delivery. Contribute to, influence and execute against the SCC Systems vision, driven primarily by the APAC & EMEA Systems Business strategy and regional priorities Achieve the Business Objectives/KPIs agreed with the Field SC Directors in the areas of Utilization, Satisfaction with Deliverable quality, and Contribution to the business. Manage and execute the hiring of SCC Systems / IaaS employees, supporting the continued growth of the SCC in FY18. Increasing the Product and Presales experience and required skills within the team, based on anticipated trends and demand from the field and considering the overall SCC Ecosystem and capabilities. Actively support and coach the team in running the day-to-day operations. Take an active role in growing and developing the team through Talent Reviews and performance management Proactively represent SCC in the respective Boards and Management meetings with the Field SC Management community Establish and leverage relationships with the assigned Regions within the Field SC Management community to drive demand for the SCC Services, identifying areas of continual improvement to maximize the value we can deliver to our stakeholders. Innovate within SCC by moving into new processes, product & solution areas and services to support the Systems Presales community . Detailed Description and Job Requirements: Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks provision of support throughout the sales cycle. As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers. Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
