Job Description:1. Define project scope, execute & deliverables that support business goals and lead the Power distribution- Rural Distribution business unit. 2. Responsible for the development of new potential business in EPC segment within & outside India. 3. Ensure all new business is procured within the agreed margins & grow the order book accordingly. Regularly review the financial data & provide necessary directions to maintain healthy P&L. Monitor BU wise/Project wise MIS reports on sales/ collection/ overdue & outstanding on a monthly basis. 4. Preparation of the initial project and cash flow plan, gathering all required information from the rest of the team, Business development, Supply Chain team, Engineering, Construction & Operations 5. Review the execution timelines and ensure the team handed over the projects on or before timelines. 6. Execute strategic initiatives of the company for the EPC business segment which would include TOC (Theory of Constraints) 7. Support pro-actively the Department heads & Construction heads & Provide high level, strategic and organizational leadership to the team. 8. Develop strong relationship & network with senior leaders in client organizations, Investors & in the EPC Industry forums. To keep track of competitors activities and plan strategies to succeed in market. 9. Provide strategic direction to the growth of the business in line with the Vision of the company. 10. Ensure goals are met for safety, customer satisfaction, and quality. 11. Perform risk-analysis /forecasting for assigned projects in order to minimize negative impact on Company. 12. Encourage teams to leverage economies of scale, be expense conscious and synergies amongst other business group and support departments across the organization. Other Responsibilties: Design & implement strategies to gain market share in Rural Distribution segment Prepare the budget for PD EPC BU. Designs, implements & manages sales forecasting & planning. Establish corporate objectives, strategies, and plan, oversee, monitor, and evaluate, all business activities so that these strategies and objectives are met. Determine the direction of business, plan new strategies and develop concepts, principles and practice to achieve the business goals Formulate financial plan like cash flow, Profit and Loss statement, and Improve the bottom line. Formulate strategies & plans for diversification/expansion of business. Ensure coordinal relations with external stakeholder like Power Grid Cooperation, NTPC, State electricity board, etc and continuously engage with them for business development. Anticipate emerging market scenarios and obstacles from both external and internal environment impacting the organization, and appropriately sets direction for the organization.
