Job Description:Migration Lead - Global Business Service Center - Freight / Logistic/ Supply Chain Department : Global Business Service Center / Mumbai Direct Line Reporting : Mumbai GBS Transition Manager Dotted Line Reporting : PAC Transformation Manager Purpose of the position : This position is mainly responsible for the operational implementation of the Business Service Center (GBS) at the selected locations in close cooperation with the overall project management, Transition Manager, the Site Admin/HR Manager and the transition team. The candidate therefore manages the operational transfer of processes and tasks from the Business Unit to the GBS and ensures the adherence to GBS wide standards for country roll-ins / GBS ramp-ups and the business case base-lining / tracking. Key Tasks : - Manage the roll-in /migration phase (project work): ensure know-how transfer into GBS, a smooth transfer of the processes / workload and manage the respective roll-in team - Develop detailed implementation plans based on standard GBS implementation approach - Ensure adherence to GBS offshoring framework, global processes, governance and business case - Coordinate communication with the roll-in Country / Business Unit (1st point of contact) - Align on organization of necessary infrastructure (IT, offices, office equipment) and ensure fit with operational requirements - Identify and hire or retain key resources for the project phase (focus on key performer) along with responsible Country Management - Establish knowledge requirements and organize necessary trainings for the employees (supported by local HR, BPT) - Ensure that business impacts of projects are properly managed and communicated with the concerned stakeholders Decision Making Authority : - Management of country roll-in and report to Country STC - Budgeting of infrastructure, training, recruitment of project staff Function / Market & amp amp Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working : - Excellent business understanding / business administration competence - Business development skills - Well experienced project management and leadership skills - Solid knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics - Good understanding of GBS concept and related processes, incl. customer interface management, service management and SLA - Good understanding of Panalpina and GBS strategy, internal customers, product portfolio as well as regional / product specifics and respective products - Experience in international environment / work experience abroad - International mobility and willingness to travel / high degree of travel expected.
