Job Description:WTMC, a global travel management company with plans to build the next generation digital travel platform is looking for Senior IT Manager.& amp nbsp Help us build our next-gen platform and world-class IT support team. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing new IT initiatives, as well as maintaining and optimizing existing solutions. You will be expected to provide your technical expertise to Information Technology to support the challenges posed by the company' s business tactics and strategies. You will lead and shape our global IT support team accountable for their success and growth.& amp nbsp If you have the knowledge, the experience and a keen eye for details and processes this is a great opportunity for you.& amp nbsp This position reports to& amp nbsp - VP Engineering& amp nbsp RESPONSIBILITIES& amp nbsp Senior IT Manager Management& amp nbsp * Responsible for ensuring the delivering of first-class information technology support and services to the entire organization.& amp nbsp * Set daily objectives/priorities and manage IT resources at various office locations. Delegate daily tasks and responsibilities and ensure successful implementation.& amp nbsp * Manage IT staff for all aspects of the hardware and software deployment process (e.g. design, plan, build, deploy, maintain, support and recovery)& amp nbsp * Provide support, training, and management to IT support team members in matters of IT administration and usage.& amp nbsp * Manage and optimize technical support portal and prioritize, assign and ensure the speedy and thorough resolution of tickets.& amp nbsp * Coordinate/facilitate support and projects with corporate teams to ensure proper, efficient and timely delivery of all infrastructure related projects and tasks in accordance with goals and timelines set by the management team.& amp nbsp * Project plan with clear, concise, and regular communication amongst stakeholders and participants.& amp nbsp * Act as the primary point of contact for all IT inquiry and issues for the IT team, internal stakeholders, and external partners.& amp nbsp * Develops and implements all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provisioning fulling the requirements of the business set by the management team.& amp nbsp * Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events and minimize operational complexity.& amp nbsp * Prepare and maintain documentation of IT Infrastructure, IT processes and training material * Prepare and maintain IT knowledge management material.& amp nbsp * Support and manage vendor relationships for hardware and software. * Maintain performance measurements and KPIs for IT staff and conduct performance quarterly performance reviews in accordance with quarterly goals.& amp nbsp Asset Management/Planning& amp nbsp * Ensure performance, reliability, and transparency of all aspects of infrastructure elements.& amp nbsp * Be responsible for server, storage, network, security and monitoring hardware, software and services ensuring they are optimized for availability, stability, integrity, performance, and scalability.& amp nbsp * Monitor and forecast demand for storage, computing and network capacity and takes appropriate action before capacity limits are reached.& amp nbsp * Be responsible for maintenance of IT hardware and software, including servers, peripherals. * Be accountable for measuring and optimizing infrastructure performance, and to initiate and lead recovery actions after system failures.& amp nbsp * Maintain Infrastructure equipment inventory and manage hardware life-cycle.& amp nbsp * Responsible for establishing an asset tracking and procurement function. Network Engineering& amp nbsp * Contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the corporate network& amp nbsp * Analyze data and define network capacity models and performance metrics to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and efficiency.& amp nbsp * Management of devices (e.g. routers, switches, etc) and the physical layer - network nodes, terminals, and wiring.& amp nbsp * Troubleshoot and quickly resolve network issues.& amp nbsp * Architect, monitor, and maintain Active Directory related services, File Services, Server Infrastructure, WAN/LAN/WLAN supporting business-critical systems.& amp nbsp * Onsite server management& amp nbsp * Cloud infrastructure management Desktop Engineering& amp nbsp * Extensive industry experience in desktop engineering, particularly in OS, build and deployment, hardware and software components, security, and configuration management technologies and infrastructure on both Windows and Mac platforms& amp nbsp * Design, test, integrate and update Windows and MAC applications and OS. Manage and support software patches, and upgrades.& amp nbsp * Troubleshoot update and configuration issues throughout the enterprise - desktop and mobile.& amp nbsp * Simulates or recreates a range of complex user problems to resolve operating difficulties.& amp nbsp * Performs upgrades to hardware and optimize configuration.& amp nbsp * Recommends system modifications to reduce user problems.& amp nbsp * Performs analyses and assists in a variety of IT support activities including, but not limited to, providing support to end users in problem resolution guiding end users through troubleshooting procedures developing troubleshooting scripts and providing technical assistance in setup, installation, and configuration of desktop hardware and software in compliance with internal controls, policies, and standards.& amp nbsp * Responsible for maintaining all aspects of office productivity tools from configuration, testing, training, installation and ongoing production support.& amp nbsp * Package, test, and the deployment of third-party software. Ensure bugs free software before releasing them to end-users.& amp nbsp Security& amp nbsp * Disaster recovery - define, implement, test, and maintain data backup protocols to ensure availability.& amp nbsp * Implement and maintain Global Security Policies across all locations, personnel, and assets - hardware, software, and data.& amp nbsp * Make sure IT governance, audit and compliance requirements are met as set by the management team.& amp nbsp REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES& amp nbsp Required Technical Skills& amp nbsp * A strong leader with the ability to direct and manage the team for delivery excellence in IT Infrastructure projects as well as day to day maintenance and support.& amp nbsp * Intensive experience in system management in IT infrastructure - design, execution & amp amp maintenance over a large and diverse system landscape and geographies.& amp nbsp * Experience and a strong understanding of IT security standards, tools and best practices with in-depth exposure to IT security assessment such PCI and PII compliance.& amp nbsp * Experience and proficient understanding of IP networking: Barracuda, TCP/IP, Windows Server, Network Security, Cloud Servers that includes the technical and functional understanding of network security, VOIP, WAN, LAN, and internet routing and switching protocols, wireless and VPN capabilities.& amp nbsp * Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of global VOIP systems such as DialPad.& amp nbsp * Experience design and implementation of cloud infrastructure with AWS and/or Azure.& amp nbsp * Experience with LAMP Stack - configuration, optimization and maintenance of Linux development and production environment& amp nbsp * Experience with .Net Stack - configuration, optimization and maintenance of MS development and production environments (MSSQL Server and IIS)& amp nbsp * Experience maintaining and optimizing Web servers such as IIS, Apache, etc for high performant and high availability.& amp nbsp * Experience in design, implementation, maintenance of Exchange within both onsite and cloud environments.& amp nbsp * Experience in design, implementation, maintenance of Active Directory and Policies within both onsite and cloud environments.& amp nbsp * Demonstrated onsite server room build-out and maintenance experience (Power, Network, Cooling, etc...) Required Business Skills& amp nbsp * Good desk side manners& amp nbsp * Self-starter and the ability to work with little or no supervision.& amp nbsp * Project management experience and ability to & quot make things happen& quot in an orderly and logical progression.& amp nbsp * Ability to actively listen, communicate (verbal and written) and work effectively in a diverse global environment with various levels of leadership.& amp nbsp * Ability to champion change amongst staff at all levels& amp nbsp * Excellent written and verbal communication skills including documentation.& amp nbsp * Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.& amp nbsp * Must possess the initiative to resolve issues before they become critical& amp nbsp * Demonstrated an ability to coach, mentor, and supervise junior members of the team.
